Mormon Tabernacle Choir!

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir came to Rexburg!  It was amazing!!  If you haven't ever heard them live, it is a must!!  It was such a powerful and fun performance!
My favorite part was when the choir sang the African Tribal number!!  I loved that they got into it!!  Drew's favorite part was the dancing!!  Just a great time :)

Waiting for the show to start!
This was a great excuse to get dressed up for a date! :)

The stage!
One of the ladies in the choir was swaying to the music and it was really funny to watch!

We had such a fun time!
Can't wait for another opportunity to see them!

Camping at Rigby Lake!

I have been wanting to go camping at Rigby Lake for a while.  And Drew wanted one last summer camping trip before the semester started, so it was the perfect fit!

Our little camping spot!
We were right on the lake, so we tried fishing, but no luck!

Drew taught me to how to lasso!
My cowboy teacher!

I totally hooked the stand first!! I'm practically a cowgirl now!!
Drew did good too ;)

Grilling our chicken dinner!! This man is a master griller!!

It was such a fun night camping just by ourselves!  I love making memories with my man!

Home Depot Hot Dogs!

So I grew up having my grandpa take me to Home Depot and after finishing our shopping we would get Home Depot hot dogs.  It is one of my cherished childhood memories, so when Drew and I went to Home Depot in Idaho Falls to get a key made I could not pass up the chance to show Drew what he's been missing!!
They are truly delicious! There is something about the smell of lumber and the sight of multiple flannel shirts that put you in the specialty hot dog mood! The only thing that was different than I remember was the price.  These hot dogs were not as cheap as I remember!!  All in all I think Drew enjoyed his first Home Depot hot dog! :)

Drew being a little embarrassed that I am taking his picture with the hot dog stand ;)

Our Specialty hot dogs! Yummy!

Idaho State Fair!

The Idaho State Fair came to town! Well it came to Blackfoot!
To be honest we were expecting a big fair, I mean once you have seen the Orange County Fair you expect a lot.  So when we got there we were a tad disappointed, it was still fun though!! And lots of good fair food!

Champion Pumpkins and some sweet peach funnel cake!

That is a big cow!

Drew's favorite animal was the mini horses! Soo cute!

They had a shark tank at the fair!!

The ferris wheel and the view!

A good sunny day :)

First Days of School!

School has started!
I was actually excited for school to start because it gets me closer to graduation!
I will graduate after student teaching December 2013!
Drew started his internship with Monkey Bar Storage! So proud of my hubby!

Drew bought me flowers for the first day of school!! He is such a great man!
Also our wedding album came in the mail the same day!

This was put up on September 11th.  Every flag represents 20 people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.  It was an awing sight!

We are excited to see what this semester holds for Drew and I!

My first quilt!

So I am NOT a sewer!  Drew's grandmother gave me a sewing machine for Christmas and I have only done a few little projects here and there.
For some reason I decided that I wanted to make a quilt, thinking that it did not look so hard.  I was wrong, but determined!  I had a bunch of left over Christmas fabric from a project that I had done for my mom.  Since I already had the fabric it was going to be free, in a sense.  So, I got started! Just started cutting and sewing, making lots of mistakes!!  Oh may I also mention that I did this in a day and a half! I was a crazed woman on a mission :P

The first row I sewed together, already a little crooked :)

Making my way! Okay I have to say that I am way proud!

The finished project! The front, and yes it is a little crooked :P
I still have not mastered how to sew a completely straight line :)

The back! Yeah I am proud!
Hopefully I will get better next time :)

This is just another project I did with a girl in my ward!
She taught me how to make a pillow case!

Dad and David come for a visit!

So Drew had to go back up to Idaho early for an internship interview and I stayed with my parents for a day to finish some things with my mom.  And I had the best Dad and brother to drive me back up to Idaho!
It was great to have them here and stay!! It was a short trip, but fun!!

David, Drew and Dad male bonding on the couch while watching a movie!
Love these guys!! And don't you just love their 'smiles'! Hehe!!

The movie of choice for my men!

The next morning the boys celebrated Labor Day with golf!

Hole in one! (just kidding)

Daddy being nice and smiling for a picture!

I sneaked onto the course for the last hole to get a picture of these cute golfers!!
Love these guys!!  I am so glad Dad and David were able to come visit  :)
