Kennecott Copper Mine!

On Saturday Mom, David, Jimmy, Drew and I ventured to the Kennecott Copper Mine.  It was a cute little place and a huge mine!  I thought it was way interesting! And they even had an explosion!!!

David, Jimmy and Drew!
These are the tires they use on the dirt moving trucks and they cost $25,000 a tire!!!!!! Holy cow!!

Drew and I :)

Mom took this same picture when she was 8 years old! Memories!!

Looking into the mine!

Mom's turn!

The mine was huge!

Barneys Canyon Mine! Who knew we owned a mine?? ;)

Off-Roading!

As many of you may know my parents moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah! Drew and I have been visiting for a little while and we HAD to try out my family's new toys!! They bought a Razor and an ATV! Woohoo! So this past week we went out to the Provo Canyon and had a good time!

Jimmy came to visit David! I thought this was a nice picture :) Good looking boys!

This is the boys getting all the toys loaded onto the trailer! And by the way, watching my dad try to drive a trailer was very funny!

David and Jimmy in the Razor!

Cute mommy!

We also took out Megan's Jeep, whose name is Hugh!

Daddy and Mommy! He's too cool for the helmet :P

The fun car!!!

Road block!!!

The trails were VERY bumpy!!

Drew and I!! Holding onto the back of that ATV was soooo hard!

Beautiful views!

We stopped by this stream for our picnic lunch!!

My turn to drive the Razor! It was super exciting, but I was a little chicken and drove pretty slow!

Megan and Mom! M'n'M

Drew's turn to drive! We caught some AIR!! Scary!

One of the trails was too small for Hugh, so we had to try and turn around! We were on two wheels at one point!  we eventually made it through!
We had lots of fun and were all very dirty by the time we were done!
We all can't wait to go again!

Jessica's Baby Shower Week in Cali!!

As many of you know my older sister Jessica is PREGO!!! She is due at the end of August and this past weekend was her baby shower!  Megan, my mom and myself traveled down from Utah for a couple of days and had a ton of fun!  The best surprise was that our cousins and Aunt showed up to surprise everyone! Very sweet!  I was sad to leave Drew for so long, but he was finishing finals and he ended up doing soooooooo great!!!! Very proud of my man!
Now on to the pictures!

Jess looking so cute and very pregnant!

When we were there we got to go to the OC Fair!! Woohoo!  I have been before, but never did any of the rides, we would just eat the deliciously fatty foods!  Lots of fun for all!

All of us, except Jess! She had to work this day, so she came later!

Mom and the cousins!!

We love ORANGE COUNTY!!

Games!! We had pretty much no luck, only the little cousins won prizes!

On the people mover! Super high!

Log ride with Megan and Andy!

The Fun Houses looked more fun from the outside :P

Releasing Kermit!

Today we had to release Kermit into the wild :(
Since we are going to be out of town so often in the summer we didn't want Kermit to die in his cage, so we took him to the nature park and released him into the lake!
I think he'll like it!

I told Drew to look sad, this is what he came up with!

Roam free Kermit!

Can you see Kermit?!

While walking to the edge of the lake I totally ate it and scratched up my hands, clumsy me!  Things i do for animals :P

Demolition Derby!

This Saturday we had some true Idaho style fun! Demolition Derby! It was sooo fun to watch people smash into each other on purpose! And just about the whole city was there!
Gotta love Idaho!

Yay derby!

Steve and Kelly!

The cars lining up to be judged on their paint job! The batman car won!

Time for smashing!! It was crazy and super loud! Some cars even caught on fire, which the crowd loved! :)

My favorite part was the pick-up trucks!!

While the cars prepared for the final showdown they had a mud-run!! They had the kids 6 and under lined up on one side of the tack and they set out tubes with money in them on the other side! It was soooo cute!

Little older kids! 7-11

And last was time for the 18 and up! Our friend Steve ran! Sadly he didn't get any money, but he did get muddy!

Fun times in Rexburg!
