My first quilt!

 So I am NOT a sewer!  Drew's grandmother gave me a sewing machine for Christmas and I have only done a few little projects here and there.  

For some reason I decided that I wanted to make a quilt, thinking that it did not look so hard.  I was wrong, but determined!  I had a bunch of left over Christmas fabric from a project that I had done for my mom.  Since I already had the fabric it was going to be free, in a sense.  So, I got started! Just started cutting and sewing, making lots of mistakes!!  Oh may I also mention that I did this in a day and a half! I was a crazed woman on a mission :P

I still have not mastered how to sew a completely straight line :)

Dad and David come for a visit!

So Drew had to go back up to Idaho early for an internship interview and I stayed with my parents for a day to finish some things with my mom.  And I had the best Dad and brother to drive me back up to Idaho!

It was great to have them here and stay!! It was a short trip, but fun!!

Barney fun!

Drew and I have been soooo busy lately!! I am taking 17 credits and working as a tutor.  Drew is working in his internship and taking 7 credits online.  And this is why I have not updated the blog in forever! My computer is full of memories just waiting to get out! :)  So here we go! A whole month of pictures in just a couple posts!

Drew and I had been in California for a couple weeks and we had some great times with the whole Barney clan!!

Jessica, David, Jake and Kate were definitely a highlight of our trip! Such a cute family!

We also had the amazing chance to be there when Heather received her Endowments!  Learn more about temple Endowments here! It was so great to be there with the whole family and be able to experience this special event!

I just have to say that I love those crazy Barney's!! I'm so glad to be apart of this family!

Time with Katrina!! :)

So as many of you know Katrina is going on a mission to Vanuatu!! A sweet island of the coast of Australia.  And when Drew and I were down in California it was her 21st birthday! Woohoo!

So we had to celebrate with some good old fashion fun and arcades!

I am going to miss this amazing girl! She is going to be a fantastic missionary and a blessing to the lives of the Vanuatuan people!  They are lucky to have her, but we get her back in 18 months! And then we are keeping her here forever! <3 

Universal Studios with Shannon!!

So, Drew and I have this awesome friend named, Shannon! She works at Universal Studios in Hollywood, which is so cool! And she was so great and took Drew and I for the first time ever!! We were soooo excited!

To Grandmother's house we go!

Drew and I had such a great time in California! 

And getting to see my grandparents was definitely a good time!!  When we got there we got to learn how to can meats! We canned pork!
